We are looking for a
Senior Business Analyst
Your responsibility: As a Senior Business Analyst you will conduct requirements management using the following, but not limited to: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, process analysis and redesign. You will be responsible for the following main activities:
- gathering and documenting high-level business and user requirements into functional and quality requirements, and specified in an appropriate level of detail for multiple audiences.
- authoring documentation for a multi-disciplinary team (e.g., subject matter experts, architects, developers and quality assurance), e.g., topic documents, analysis models, detailed use cases, and other supporting scenarios or white papers
- lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement are accurate, complete, consistent, concise, testable, traceable, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards (e.g., modeling standards, information/data standards, etc.)
- support evaluation of requirements tools and technologies to increase standardization and efficiency across the business and systems analysts
Your background: You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and at least 8 – 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. We appreciate a practical knowledge of state-of-the-art OO-Software Engineering Approaches. You have 7+ years experience in Business and Systems Analysis and 5+ years of experience in writing technical and business specifications (e. g. UML, BPMN). We prefer candidates with experiences in the Pharma domain (e. g. research, development, Drug Safety etc.), relevant Information Technology standards (particularly from HL7 and OMG), service-oriented architecture and design, business rules management and business process management tools.
Your personality: You are bright and a quick learner whose curiosity drives you to expand your knowledge base. You are able to handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks and meet demanding timelines. You have excellent organizational as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your perfect interpersonal skills enable an effective communication. We expect strong facilitation and interviewing skills to include, but not limited to: the ability to talk with individuals, users, and groups about their business needs; the ability to ask the right questions to elicit essential requirement information; and keep subject matter experts focused on the requirements elaboration.
