Web Developer

ii4sm is seeking an experienced Web Developer to strengthen the development team of its innovative Quality Risk Radar (QRR) and other ii4smĀ  products. By collecting performance and transactional data and computing risk, QRR facilitates risk-based decision making. QRR detects the potential deviations in quality via its two types of antennas: web-based configurable questionnaires and automated source system data feeds. Consequently, the QRR functions as a support process for promoting patient safety and ensuring data integrity during drug development. Its cost-effective information delivery approach is simple and easily adopted by regional, country and study managers, clinical teams and monitors.


Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Design and maintenance of web pages within the QRR application.
  • Implementation of business logic and work flows.
  • Implementation of interfaces to 3rd party applications and databases.
  • Functional unit-testing, cross-browser testing and bug-fixing.
  • Documentation.
  • Application deployment.

Candidate Background

  • Degree in computer science or closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive practical Java development experience.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Web frameworks: JSF, Seam 2.
  • Web technologies: Apache, Tomcat and JBoss.
  • Standards and tools: Eclipse, Maven, UML, Design patterns.
  • General knowledge in ETL and Hibernate for ORM.
  • Experiences in user interface design and ergonomic applications experience.
  • Spoken and written English.
