We are looking for an

IT System Administrator (Professional)


Your responsibility: You are responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. You participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the infrastructure. You will assist project teams with technical issues. You support a smooth transition of projects from development to production by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle. You establish concepts and procedures for the deployment of the system as part of the ii4sm semantic interoperability platform and the drug safety application. As member of the IT Team you occasionally support the corporate IT services according the service level agreements.


Your background: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology education or related field plus 4 - 6 years of experience working with IT systems in a 24 x 7 and development environment, or related experience. Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Unix and Microsoft. In-depth knowledge in MS Windows server operation system, knowledge in ADS (Active Directory Service), VMWare (Virtual System), Linux/Unix operation systems, Basic Knowledge in data base system e.g. MySQL, ProstgreSQL, MS-SQL etc., good understanding of system operation (high availability solutions, monitoring, backup/restore), strong scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, Perl etc.) and skills in MS Office.

IT Database Administrator (Professional)

 

Your responsibility: You administer and control the organization data bases. You use repeatable practices to ensure data availability, integrity and security. You recover corrupted data, eliminate data redundancy and leverage database tools to improve database performance and efficiency. You establish the concept and procedures for the deployment of databases as part of the ii4sm semantic interoperability platform and drug safety application. As member of the IT Team you occasionally support the corporate IT services according the service level agreements.

 

Your background: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology education or related field. 6 years experience with databases, 4 - 6 years experience in a 24 x 7 high availability environment and >1 year experience in software development either as DBA or as developer. In-depth knowledge at least in one of these data base systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL) and in Linux/Unix operation systems, good understanding of database operations (high availability solutions like physical and logical standby databases, replication, monitoring, backup/restore) and in database performance analysis and tuning, knowledge in MS Windows server operation system and in system administration, strong scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, Perl etc.) and skills in MS Office.
