Robert Lario joins ii4sm as new Chief Technology Officer.

October
Charles Mead steps down from the Chief Technology Officer position at ii4sm and enters the Scientific Advisory Board. As a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 a large amount of funding was made available to the NCI. One of the seven objectives for this funding – “Redesign Informatics Infrastructure” – will require Charlie Mead’s almost full attention as CTO of the NCI, a position he has been sharing with ii4sm so far. We want to thank Charlie for his valuable contributions in setting the stage for our innovative interoperability solution for healthcare. We wish Charlie all the best for his personal future.

Contract signed with a top-10 pharma company for ‘trusted broker’ services.

June
ii4sm wins a strategic project involving its proprietary modeling & simulation tool to optimize drug safety processes, organization and performance in an M&A setting of a top-10 pharma company.


May
ii4sm wins a competitive bid for the design of a new global drug safety system with a top-10 pharma company.

  • Clemens Guetermann joins ii4sm to strengthen our executive team with over 15 years of management experience as a senior leader and board member in a multinational company. Clemens’s role at ii4sm is HR, Organizational Development & Operations
  • Two new contracts signed for Adverse Events (AE) reporting & Case Processing with top-15 pharma companies.

Two new contracts signed for pharmacovigilance consulting.

February

  • Successful Proof of Concept for the ii4sm interoperability platform including drug safety applications.
  • Trevor Gibbs, MD, joins ii4sm as Chief Medical Officer from GSK, where he was the Head of global drug safety.

  • QIX (Quality Information Exchange) becomes operational.
  • First Adverse events Case Processing contract signed with a top-15 pharma Company.
